*各日17:00から同会場で海外団体によるレセプションを予定しています。

*A reception by an international delegate is planned to be held in the same venue each evening at 17:00.

TPAM参加者を対象に、自由にテーマを設定し、少人数（16名）から大人数（110名）まで様々な規模でカジュアルなミーティングを開催することができます。ディスカッションはもちろんのこと、今年はオープンスタジオで作品の発表やワークショップを行なうことも可能です。ミーティングを開催するには、TPAM参加登録料に加え、別途ホスト登録料が必要です。

ホスト登録締め切りは2019年1月15日（火）です。

TPAM registrants can propose a theme and host an informal meeting with 16 to 110 participants. Diverse themes ranging from the promotion of ones’ own productions and projects to discussion on issues around contemporary performing arts have been proposed. “Open Studio” section for hosting an informal showcase or workshop starts this year. A fee in addition to the TPAM registration fee is required to host a meeting.

Host registration deadline is Tuesday January 15, 2019 (Japan Standard Time).

青森県八戸市南郷地域で2011年にスタートした、パフォーミングアーツを中心とした「南郷アートプロジェクト」。その一環として、2018年に開催した「なんごう小さな芸術祭」では、郷土の歴史や民俗芸能を題材にし、演劇やコンテンポラリーダンスのプログラムを行いました。今回は、活動を紹介しながら、地域を題材にしたパフォーミングアーツのあり方について考えます。 In 2011, the Nango Art Project, a performing arts focussed project, started in the Nango area in Hachinohe, Aomori prefecture. As part of this project, “Nango’s Mini Art Festival” was launched, which featured theatre and contemporary dance performances that focussed on local history and folklore. In this meeting, as well as introducing our projects, we would like to discuss how best to produce performing arts projects in local areas.

The contemporary theatre scene in China has changed over the past 10-20 years and the activities of Chinese independent theaters and theater companies are very unique. 東アジア3カ国でダンスアーティストの育成と発信を目的に開催されるダンスフェスティバル、City Contemporary Dance Festival（香港）、SIDance（ソウル）、横浜ダンスコレクションが初めて協働して「HOTPOT東アジア・ダンスプラットフォーム」を創設し、2017年11月に香港、2018年10月にソウルで開催しました。2020年2月の第3回横浜開催の概要を共有します。 Dance festivals that aim to train and disseminate dance artists in three East Asian countries, City Contemporary Dance Festival (Hong Kong), SIDance (Seoul) and Yokohama Dance Collection, cooperated for the first time in order to establish “HOTPOT East Asia Dance Platform” and organized it in Hong Kong in November 2017 and Seoul in October 2018. We are now focussing on building visitors’ connection to the local area, and exploring new artistic and professional possibilities. 私たちは、亜女会（アジア女性舞台芸術会議）＋ON-PAM（舞台芸術制作者オープンネットワーク）有志を中心に集まった勉強会です。#MeTooを契機に露わになったセクハラを個々の問題に矮小化せず、舞台芸術界全体として、私たち自身も変わっていくために活動しています。閉じた関係性の中で、作品制作上の権力がハラスメントと結び付きやすい業界特有の構造など、既存のセクハラの枠組みからこぼれる問題も見えてきました。今回は2018年度の活動報告をします。 We are a collective of volunteers and performing artists, taking part in the fight against sexual harassment. We will discuss our efforts in 2018 following the #MeToo movement, including the creation of a report about the dangers we identified in this industry. We believe the required systems for safe practice within the performing arts are inherently different from the established framework of sexual safety in other industries.

アノニマス・ボディ弘前プロジェクトの紹介と今後の滞在制作活動の可能性について探ります。 人間の存在の強度を様々な場所から見つめ発信していくこのプロジェクトは継続型滞在制作の方法をとっています。第１回目はメキシコの2都市で2018年４−５月に行いました。これに続く第２回目（2019年1月21–2月17日）を現在、弘前市にて制作しており、2月16・17日に公演します。 This is an introduction to “The Anonymous Body Project in Hirosaki” and a discussion of possible future residency programs. The project investigates the strength of human beings from different perspectives. This is a continuous residency project launched in two cities in Mexico in April/May 2018. The second edition will be performed on 16-17 February in Kato’s hometown, Hirosaki, after a residency period January 21-February 17, 2019.

「無音」と「轟音」が共存しているダンス作品『SHGZR-0dB』（シューゲイザー・ゼロ・デシベル）をご紹介します。 本作品は、ダンサーと観客が全員、ワイヤレスヘッドホンを装着して進行します。「臨場感とは一体何なのか？」「シアターでの体験は＜共有＞出来るのか？」といった問いを、観客に投げかけます。 これは都市部での「新たな作品上演方法」の提案でもあり、ライブ作品の更なる可能性を具体的に示すものです。 "SHGZR-0dB" (shoegazer-zero decibel), is a dance work in which "silence" and "roaring sound" simultaneously co-exist. In this piece both dancers and audience members wear wireless headphones. This performance poses multiple questions to its audience, asking: "How do we sense liveness?" and "Can we really 'share' theatrical experiences?" This work also engages radical new performance methods in urban areas, expanding the potential of live performance.

Our new home will consist of a 350-seater thrust stage modeled on traditional Asian stages as well as a 70-seater for intimate showcases and laboratory explorations. We plan to produce a festival on Southeast Asian Theatre in 2021 and warmly welcome suggestions, proposals and collaborative opportunities.

Lastly, we would also encourage conversations on how to sustain creative spaces, physical and otherwise.

For centuries Estonia has been the meeting point of Europe and Russia. Narva is a border city that has unique vibe and history, there are 2 medieval castles across the border river. In 2018 a theater Open Space (Vaba Lava) was opened in Narva to provide possibilities to host and promote independent and international co-operation projects and co-productions.

東京/ソウル/上海の街に暮らす人々のしぐさを集めて、日中韓3カ国のダンサー2人ずつ、計6人でパフォーマンス作品をつくるアートプロジェクト。人のしぐさには、無意識のうちに、生まれ育った地域の文化や歴史、そして個人の生き方が表われています。今回は、プロジェクトメンバー自身のしぐさを抽出していく過程を見ながら、様々なバックグラウンドを持つ参加者の皆さんと、しぐさの背後に潜む物語について議論します。 The project focuses on collecting people's act of behaviour from Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai, collaboratively with six performers in total (two from each city). Behaviours reflect personal backgrounds including cultural and historical context of where they grew up. As part of the project, this workshop enables the performer to discuss and draw out the underlying narrative of cultural behaviours together with attendees from various background.

2017年7月にOPENした民間小劇場「アトリエ銘苅ベース」。 提携カンパニー制度、レジデンス施設・たたき場の整備、支援会員制度などの環境を整え、年間公演ラインナップも充実してきました。 今後は人や地域とのつながりに重点をおいたソフト面での充実を図っていく予定です。 地方公演の意義と課題を検討しつつ、地方小劇場の魅力アップについて考えます。 Since the opening of Atelier Mekaru Base in July 2017, we have established a network with other theatre companies, a residency facility, a set-building workshop, and a donor program. We are now focussing on building visitors’ connection to the local area, and exploring new artistic and professional possibilities. We want to discuss the significance of and obstacles facing regional performance, and how to make small, regional theatres more appealing.

1970年代の国の開発や文化の生産による世界形成によって、ヒューマニティの新たなビジョンにおける健全的体制、規約が決まっていきました。革新的な意見や権威主義とポピュリズムへの進化はこのレトリックの中で表現されてきました。この講座は「芸術」と「社会的空想」の結合を再提起し、いつ芸術的表現が必要とされるモノローグになるか? どのようにこの表現の独裁を交代させることが出来るのかを探求していきます。 In the 1970s world-making of developing countries, cultural production acted as salubrious machineries and documents of new visions of humanity. Revolutionary voices, later evolving into bodies of authoritarianism and populism, performed the distribution of these rhetorics. This lecture re-invokes the conjunction of “the artistic” and “social dreaming,” and asks: When does artistic voice become a necessary monologue? How can it displace and replace the voice of the dictatorial?

リン・イージンは、台湾の河洛語からインスピレーションを得て、方言が引き起こす身体のモメンタムを明らかにしていきます。 「流れる」「固める」「ふるえる」「つかむ」「すばやく動く」など、身体の衝動をさまざまな形で展開していきます。ボディランゲージとそのユニークさとは、こうしたモメンタムによって蓄積されるのです。 ワークショップへの参加は、先着20名様までとさせていただきます。 Inspired by the dialect of Ho-Lok in Taiwan, LIN I-Chin discovers the body momentum driven by the dialect. Consisting of one hall, six studios, and a residence capable of hosting 22 people, KIAC is one of the biggest bases for creation in Japan. KIAC has gained a reputation since its opening in 2014 for providing a space to dedicate time to creativity.

世界の一部大都市では、劇場や美術館、NPO等で地域の子供や一般市民に向けた芸術教育普及事業が盛んに行われています。しかし日本では未だインフラが整っておらず中々普及が進んでいないのが現状です。国内外では、どのように舞台芸術をインクルーシブにしていくのか、また教育普及プロジェクトが行われているのか実践例を基にプレゼンテーション、ディスカッションを行います。 In some cosmopolitan cities in the world, it is common that arts organizations such as theatres and museums have education sectors and offer education and outreach projects for children and people in local communities. However, we do not have enough infrastructure for education projects in Japan. We are going to discuss how we can make performing arts inclusive and how arts organizations run education projects based on existing practices.

Its basic parts are created by Nami Gonda and Miguel Vaylon, but some parts and conclusion parts are always open to collaborate and create with other artists all over the world. It is an “work in progress” piece. Although it starts with Nami’s personal story, people can find many common points across the borders.

As traditional media structures fall, the theatre reviewer, the music critics, the books editor have almost disappeared. Shrinking arts coverage impacts the artists and the audience. The AAMR is the first step towards establishing a network of arts media organisations and individual arts writers in the region that will have multiple impacts across content creation, discourse and art consumption.

As they comically attempt to 'correct' history, they discover how their identities are sustained not by the accuracies of history but the stubbornness of myths.

クリエーションのルーツとなるのは、アメリカ20世紀を代表する前衛演劇の第一人者、NYをベースに、国際的に活躍するリチャード・フォアマンの80年代の作品です。彼は現在81歳、舞台作品から引退した後、映像を製作しています。昨年5月に羊屋は、フォアマンにインタビューしました。彼の語ったこと、そして戯曲をルーツに始めた作品製作のプロセスの一部を公開します。本作品は、札幌（3/15～17）及び東京（3/22～24）で上演されます。 Our new work will be rooted in a play written in 80’s by Richard Foreman, one of the New York based leading figure of avant-garde theater in 20th century America. He is now 81 years old, retired from theater, but still active in filmmaking at his studio. In this session, we will share our creation process that has started with the script and an interview with Foreman, which Shirotama made last May. This work will be presented in Sapporo from March 15-17th and in Tokyo from March 22-24th.

Schmidtke was heading the program department at Berliner Humboldt Forum and has been nominated Artistic Director of the Festival Theater der Welt which will run in May 2020 in the German city of Düsseldorf. Theater der Welt happens every three years and is dedicated to present outstanding theatre productions from all over the world.

TPAMでオーストラリアのサウンドアーティスト、マデリン・フリン＆ティム・ハンフリーと出会い世界共通語にもなっている「KARAOKE」を通じて国や世代を超えてコミュニケーションを図る参加型の空間アート作品「The KARAOKE Project」を共同制作しThe CAVEで開催した。この作品を世界に発信する手始めとして協働することで生まれた新しい発想やアプローチその相乗効果を発表し意見交換する。 The collaboration between Australian sound artists Madeleine Flynn and Tim Humphrey through TPAM led to the creation of the participatory installation work “The KARAOKE Project”. Using the universal term “KARAOKE”, this piece engaged intergenerational cultural experiences and, in this session, we will discuss the new concepts and methodologies within the work, and the impact of this process on both the artists and in the project’s presentation.

2011年に代表田中が瀬戸内に移住し設立した瀬戸内サーカスファクトリーは、現代サーカス発展と地域活性化を同時進行する取り組みで「滞在制作による創作」の重要性を唱え、国内外のアーティストを招いて滞在制作および人材育成を通年で行っています。現代サーカスに関心のある方に、来年春オープンの創造拠点SHIONO-AIR、5年目を迎えるフェスティバルなど、瀬戸内で起こっていることをお伝えしたいと思います。 The Setouchi Circus Factory, founded in 2011 by Michiko Tanaka, aims to promote contemporary circus and invigorate interest in the Setouchi region. We welcome domestic and overseas artists to participate in our residency, and Human Resource Development program. This is an introduction to SHIONO-AIR, a residency facility opening next spring, along a festival marking our 5th anniversary, and other significant events in Setouchi.

チェルフィッチュは、今年10月に京都で新作を発表します。 今回の新作では、美術家・金氏徹平との協働により、人間中心の尺度を脱しモノと人間の主従関係から自由になり、新たな演劇的言語・方法を提示することを目指します。また劇場以外の場所でも展開できる作品として企画しています。 それにあたり、コンセプトと具体的な試みについて演出家とプロデューサーよりご紹介します。 chelfitsch will release a new work in Kyoto this October. In collaboration with the artist Teppei Kaneuji, this original work will aim to present a new theatrical language and method, moving away from human-centered perspectives, and escaping the master-slave relationship between inanimate objects and humans. This work can be performed outside of theaters. At this meeting, the director and producer will introduce the key concepts of the work.
